1. I need about 3 more hours each night to get all the crap i need to do finished.
2. I bought James some holiday/seasonal coffee creamers to take to work. He says "we don't like powdered creamer" last time i try to be nice
3. Yesterday Samantha got a tambourine over her head and it was stuck around her neck. Had to be "greased" off her head. The base daycare has removed all similar tambourines. Seriously! what is up with my kid? Is there anything she won't do? (...bird incident...)
4. Adam is still cute as ever and doesn't get into trouble yet. However, he will be walking within the month and this will change.

11/11/11- 11 Years Active Duty Service in the Air Force
Veterans Day means a lot to many people. Today we are thankful for the veterans who have served before us, those serving with us today, and those we will serve with in the future. We both have military parents & grandparents so serving was something that just seemed right.
We have a little family tradition of spending Veterans day doing something family oriented. The rain we had limited what we could do outside do we stayed inside watched Netflix & made some chocolate chip cookies. We planned on a trip to the drive in (yes, even though it was raining..) but my daughter decided on an early bed time instead.

Rutiz farm in AG
Took both kids to the Rutiz Farm in Arroyo Grande Saturday. The selection of produce is pretty good, better quality than you will find at the Commissary. I picked up some rainbow carrots, snap peas, strawberries, blueberries & tomatoes. I'm trying to make the transition to natural foods. For example, pesticide free. Not just organic because to be certified organic you are still permitted to us pesticides as long as they too are organic. Rutiz Farm is pesticide free and I am pretty sure they are organic, just lacking the seal of approval from the USDA.
They looked so pretty before I cooked them. I need to take some lessons on veggie prep, we didn't eat any veggies other than corn on the cob and mashed potatoes when I was growing up. They turned out ok, edible but nothing I'll be serving to guests.
I tried buying organic cows milk for my husband and he refused to try it. Samantha is on rice milk for her allergies, our commissary doesn't carry organic rice milk. Its hard enough for them to carry regular enriched rice milk.
